/ ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Sachibondu Mission is a Christian mission station in a very remote area of North West Zambia, very close to the point where the borders of Angola, Zambia and the DRC meet.
Founded in 1960, the mission continues to provide health services, education and spiritual input into the local communities.
The Rural Health Centre provides life-saving services to people who would otherwise find it very difficult to access any form of healthcare. Under five clinics, maternity services, diagnosis and treatment for HIV and TB and malaria are all available on-site. A mobile clinic also regularly travels out into remote rural places to provide healthcare to those that cannot reach Sachibondu easily.
The mission has a primary and pre-school that serves around 350 children from the surrounding villages that would otherwise have to walk many miles to the district school.
Finally, Sachibondu provides spiritual input and Christian teaching through discipleship programmes, the Bible School and through the local church.

Sachibondu Mission is a great blessing to many, many communities in this remote rural area.
Mission Geeks is excited to support Sachibondu in their work by taking in a volunteer team of creative geeks to produce professional photography of all the aspects of the work there and subsequently create a brand new, modern website that will allow friends and supporters of the mission to keep up-to-date and in touch.
We are very proud to be able to support the work of the dedicated team at Sachibondu!
/ FUNDING REQUIRED
While all the design, coding, photography, editing and production work is done by our volunteer geeks who donate their professional time, we must still raise funds to cover the logistics of getting our volunteers to and from this remote site. The budget for this project covers 2 project trips and online services to support the website.
