About Us
We empower mission hospitals, schools, and ministries facing constant technical challenges—like unreliable power, unsafe water, broken equipment, and poor communication—that hinder their ability to heal, teach, and disciple.
In some of Africa’s most remote places, these ministries bring dignity, opportunity, and the love of Christ. We believe God has called us to “equip His people for works of service” (Eph 4:12)—fixing what’s broken, building what’s needed, and training others to carry it forward.
Find Out MoreWe have very low administration costs which are funded entirely by partners who share our vision for Africa.
We ensure that the projects we take on will have a lasting positive impact for the communities we serve.
Our work in Africa is entirely independent of commercial or political influence.
Every cent donated to a Mission Geeks project is used on projects.
What We Do
Through our extensive, carefully curated network of volunteer experts in their fields, we are able to provide creative, technical and professional services to support projects in a wide variety of areas from photography to web design, electronics to carpentry and accounting to legal support.
We raise funding for individual projects through corporate partners, charities and individuals. Our donors choose Mission Geeks because we are committed to spending every cent donated to projects directly on project work. Donor organisations receive a detailed financial report in addition to a multi-media pack documenting the impact of the project they support.
We aim to raise awareness about issues in Africa that we ourselves have the potential to help solve. We highlight organisations and individuals making a real positive impact in their communities through photography, films and articles on our website and across social media.
We are committed to working with our partners to develop simple, affordable technical solutions to every-day challenges in the remotest areas of Africa. Mission Geeks is developing several prototypes already. A solar-powered remote borehole management system is in field-testing.
Our Projects
We’re passionate about developing simple innovative technology in Africa.

Mission Geeks Aircraft
At Mission Geeks we focus our work in remote rural areas because we feel this is where our efforts will have the most impact. Because of very poor roads and the immense distances involved, it will quickly become impractical to access the majority of our rural projects by vehicle in the coming years, especially during the rains.
We recently made the decision to purchase a Cessna 182 that is perfect for our need and will also enable us to support conservation and medical work.
This aircraft will ensure we are able to reach and serve many, many more people in the years to come. If you feel you’d like to contribute to our aircraft fund or assist in the day-to-day operations of Mission Geeks in any other way, please click the button below to find out how!
